it seems that the number of competitions that constantly infringe on the freedom of bike paths is increasing, so I filed a complaint about inconvenience in living with Dasan Call (120).
The point is
Marathon events "share" bike paths with bicycles (well, I won't blame runners for coming to bike paths. The Han River belongs to everyone).
At least, without guaranteeing a minimum bicycle passage, they "occupy" the bike path and make it impossible for bicycles to pass. This was the complaint.
On the organizer's website, they asked runners to be careful with bikes and stick to one side, but is that reasonable...? Parallel running is basic, and even if you turn around at a turning point, it becomes reverse running... It doesn't make it possible for bicycles to pass at all.
In contrast, large cycling events like Granfondo request road control in advance and pay considerable costs such as course usage fees, while participants "rent" the event course during the event. On the other hand, marathon participants do not pay any cost for venue use except for goods or souvenirs, and I also questioned the fairness of using infrastructure without paying.
