I tried using Gemini's plan feature for the first time yesterday.
I love it.
Putting aside the quality of the answers, it's nice and quiet because it just calmly answers questions. It also helps me organize my thoughts, and I wonder if this is why conversations between colleagues are decreasing.
I reviewed all the experiments I've done so far, checked the data, settings, model performance, etc. right away, summarized it in one document, and then created a checklist for the next revision plan at the end. It feels so good.
And I'm sure it wasn't there last month, but at some point it appeared, and yesterday it was definitely "/planning," but today the command changed to "/plan." So I think they're just hastily following Claude.
I can't wait for summer vacation to be over so I can switch to Claude soon.
Ps.
Also, if it occasionally asks things like "Is this the best?", "What would my boss say?", or "What would the conference reviewers say?", it gives more sincere answers.
