Nan Cunhui, chairman of the Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce, met with Michael Goutama, special advisor for industry and environment economy at Indonesia's Ministry of Finance, to discuss investment cooperation. The meeting also included Chint Solar's CEO Lu Chuan and other Chinese business leaders. Nan is known to be the owner of the Chint Group.
Chint Solar announced plans to explore investment opportunities in Indonesia's renewable energy sector, focusing on photovoltaic power plants (PLTS). CEO Lu Chuan highly evaluated Indonesia's growth potential but also expressed hope for a more consistent and foreign investment-friendly policy environment.
Meanwhile, special advisor Michael Goutama explained that Chint Solar is considering developing industrial parks and specialized villages for renewable energy. He anticipates that the two years of investment discussions will culminate in direct investments following this visit.
