국회는 오늘 김성수 대법관 후보자 임명동의안을 표결합니다. 더불어민주당이 절대 과반 의석을 가지고 있어 김 후보자 임명은 무난하게 처리될 것으로 예상됩니다. 전날 열린 인사청문특별위원회에서는 김 후보자에 대한 적격 및 부적격 의견이 병기된 인사청문경과보고서를 처리했습니다. 이번 국회 본회의에는 검찰청 폐지 및 중수청, 공소청 신설 등 형사사법 체계 개편 관련 법안도 상정될 예정입니다. 여야는 이에 대한 의사 안건 협의를 계속할 것입니다.
The National Assembly will vote on the appointment confirmation bill for Supreme Court Justice nominee Kim Seong-soo today. As the Democratic Party of Korea holds an absolute majority of seats, it is expected that the appointment of nominee Kim will be processed smoothly. The Special Committee on Personnel Hearing held the previous day dealt with the personnel hearing result report on nominee Kim, which included both opinions on his eligibility and ineligibility. In this National Assembly plenary session, bills related to the reform of the criminal justice system, such as the abolition of the prosecution service and the establishment of the Investigation Agency and Public Prosecutor's Office, are also expected to be proposed. The ruling and opposition parties will continue to consult on the agenda for these bills.
Majelis Nasional akan melakukan pemungutan suara hari ini untuk persetujuan penunjukan calon Hakim Agung Kim Seong-su. Partai Demokrasi dan Keadilan memiliki mayoritas mutlak kursi, sehingga diharapkan penunjukan Calon Kim akan berjalan lancar. Pada rapat Komite Khusus Pemeriksaan Personalia yang diadakan sehari sebelumnya, laporan hasil pemeriksaan personil yang berisi pendapat tentang kelayakan dan ketidaklayakan Calon Kim telah diproses. Dalam sidang pleno Majelis Nasional kali ini, juga direncanakan pengesahan rancangan undang-undang terkait reformasi sistem peradilan pidana, seperti pembubaran Kejaksaan Agung dan pembentukan Badan Penyelidikan dan Kejaksaan. Partai oposisi dan pemerintah akan terus berdiskusi mengenai agenda tersebut.
