한국무역협회는 대미 투자 확대를 앞두고 미국 행정부 및 의회와 만나 현지 애로 해결을 위한 아웃리치 활동을 전개했습니다. 방미단은 미국 무역법 301조 조치 및 과잉생산 조사에 대한 선제적 대응과 함께 세제 혜택 확대를 요청했습니다. 특히 한국 기업의 주요 어려움인 전문 인력 부족 문제 해결을 위해 한국인 전용 비자 쿼터 신설을 적극적으로 요구했습니다. 이번 방미는 3,500억 달러 규모의 대미 투자가 미국 공급망 안정화와 한미 첨단산업 협력에 기여할 것으로 기대됩니다. 무협은 앞으로도 한국 기업의 현장 어려움을 미국 정부와 의회에 지속적으로 전달하고 소통할 계획입니다.
The Korea Trade Association (KTA) has conducted outreach activities to address local concerns by meeting with the US administration and Congress ahead of the expansion of investment in the US. The delegation requested preemptive responses to Section 301 measures of the US trade law and oversupply investigations, as well as an expansion of tax benefits. In particular, it actively urged the establishment of a visa quota exclusively for Koreans to address the shortage of skilled personnel, a major difficulty faced by Korean companies. This visit to the US is expected to contribute to the stabilization of the US supply chain and cooperation in advanced industries between Korea and the US through an investment of $350 billion. The KTA plans to continue conveying and communicating the difficulties faced by Korean companies on site to the US government and Congress.
Korea International Trade Association (KITA) telah melakukan kegiatan jangkauan untuk menyelesaikan masalah lokal di Amerika Serikat dengan bertemu dengan pemerintahan dan parlemen AS menjelang perluasan investasi ke AS. Delegasi KITA meminta tindakan pencegahan terhadap klausa 301 dari undang-undang perdagangan AS dan penyelidikan produksi berlebihan, serta memperluas manfaat pajak. Secara khusus, mereka secara aktif meminta pendirian kuota visa khusus untuk orang Korea untuk mengatasi masalah kekurangan tenaga ahli yang merupakan kesulitan utama bagi perusahaan Korea.
