BTS's 'Swim' has been sued for allegedly plagiarizing a demo song by unknown American composers. The plaintiffs claimed they shared the demo song with music industry professionals last year, and some of them were delivered to the 'Swim' songwriting team. Music researchers pointed out similarities between the two songs and analyzed that 'Swim' was a plagiarized work. However, Big Hit Music stated that 'Swim' was an independently created song and vowed to respond strongly to the lawsuit. BTS members were not included in the defendant.
