Diopen Golf Tournament, total prize money of $17.5 million and a winner's prize of $3.2 million | Yonhap News Agency
Turnamen Golf Diopen, total hadiah US$17,5 juta dan hadiah juara US$3,2 juta.
The total prize money for this year's British Open is $17.5 million, an increase of $500,000 from last year, and the winner's prize money is $3.2 million, up $100,000. The R&A did not significantly increase the prize money like other major tournaments, which is due to concerns that if more prize money is paid to players, the budget for other programs to popularize golf may be reduced. The Masters and US Open had a total prize money of $22.5 million and a winner's prize money of $4.5 million, while the PGA Championship recorded a total prize money of $25 million and a winner's prize money of $3.69 million.
