오세훈 서울시장은 개봉동 청년안심주택을 방문하여 입주 청년들과 간담회를 가졌다. 그는 청년들에게 주거가 '삶의 사다리'임을 강조하며 최근 황희 더불어민주당 의원이 제안한 폐버스를 활용한 청년 주택 아이디어를 비판했다. 오 시장은 청년들이 주거비 부담 감소로 자기 계발이나 저축에 집중할 수 있다는 점을 언급하며, 서울시가 주택 공급 확대와 금융·월세 지원 등을 통해 청년들의 실질적인 어려움 해결에 힘쓸 것이라고 약속했다. 서울시는 현재 청년안심주택 사업 대상지를 확대하고 민간사업자의 건설자금 이차보전 한도를 높여 공급 기반을 강화하고 있다.
Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon visited the Geopbong-dong Youth Safe Housing and held a meeting with the residents. He emphasized to the young people that housing is a 'ladder for life' while criticizing the idea of using decommissioned buses for youth housing, recently proposed by Rep. Hwang Hee of the Democratic Party of Korea. Mayor Oh pointed out that reducing housing costs would allow young people to focus on self-development or savings and promised that Seoul City will work hard to solve the practical difficulties faced by young people through expanding housing supply and providing financial and monthly rent support. Currently, Seoul City is expanding the target sites for the Youth Safe Housing project and raising the limit on secondary repayment guarantees for construction funds from private developers to strengthen the supply base.
Walikota Seoul Oh Se-hoon mengunjungi Rumah Aman Pemuda di Gaepoengdong dan mengadakan pertemuan dengan para pemuda yang tinggal di sana. Ia menekankan kepada para pemuda bahwa perumahan adalah 'tangga kehidupan' sambil mengkritik ide rumah pemuda yang memanfaatkan bus bekas yang baru-baru ini diajukan oleh anggota Majelis Nasional Partai Demokrasi Justice Huang Hee. Walikota Oh mengatakan bahwa jika beban biaya perumahan berkurang, para pemuda dapat fokus pada pengembangan diri atau tabungan. Ia berjanji bahwa Kota Seoul akan berupaya keras untuk mengatasi kesulitan nyata para pemuda melalui perluasan pasokan perumahan dan dukungan keuangan serta sewa bulanan. Saat ini, Kota Seoul sedang memperluas lokasi proyek Rumah Aman Pemuda dan meningkatkan batas jaminan ulang modal konstruksi pengembang swasta untuk memperkuat dasar pasokan.
