권창영 2차 종합특검팀은 '채상병 사건' 관련 수사 정보 유출 혐의로 이시원 전 대통령실 공직기강비서관과 임기훈 전 국가안보실 국방비서관을 공무상 비밀누설죄로 불구속 기소했습니다. 이들은 경북경찰청의 해병대 압수수색 계획을 사전에 해병대에 알린 혐의를 받습니다. 또한, 최주원 전 경북경찰청장과 노규호 경찰수사연수원장은 경북경찰청으로 이첩된 채상병 사건 기록을 국방부 검찰단에 반환하도록 지시한 직권남용권리행사방해 혐의로 불구속 기소되었습니다. 특검팀은 이번 수사를 통해 '채상병 사망 사건' 이후 사건 기록이 국방부 검찰단에 회수된 경위와 해병대에 대한 압수수색 정보가 사전에 유출된 과정을 확인했다고 밝혔습니다.
